When Bad Boy was still basically a start up label, Missy helped write, produce and/or was featured on many songs of newcoming Bad Boy artists and other artists that Puffy produced for, including Total (What About Us), Gina Thompson (The Things You Do), MC Lyte (Cold Rock a Party) and New Edition (You Don’t Have to Worry).
Puffy was looking to sign her to Bad Boy, but she opted to go where she could make her own label. And thank goodness. ‘Cause we know what happens to all Bad Boy artists. (Where is Day 26?)
Trippin is yet another song she co-wrote and co-produced.
